Building a Diverse Construction Community:

Mission:
Increase the capacity and long-term viability of emerging minority and women owned union construction firms in the St. Louis area.

Our Work:

The Regional Union Construction Center (RUCC) provides a no-cost program to assist in the growth of minority and women owned construction companies that self-perform services on commercial, industrial, institutional, and government funded projects. Participating firms are required to operate in a businesslike manner that increases their chance of success and this requires hard work.

Each company owner works with their own advisory board. All of the assistance is related to improving business skills and comes from the collective synergy of their Advisory Board as well as from the individual board members.

Entry to the program must be agreed to by the RUCC Board of Directors and once in the program, recommendations to the company for change of status comes from the participant’s Advisory Board.

Inquiries about participation in the program are directed to Alan Richter, Executive Director of RUCC by submitting a Contact Us form, by calling 314-725-5788 or via email at richtera@ruccenter.org
